Venous stenting
Some venous disease stems from compression of veins in the abdomen by other structures. Our surgeons are familiar with all types of venous stenting procedures and work closely with our ultrasound team to make sure we investigate venous disease in places it is often overlooked. When previous vein treatment in the lower legs have failed, we oftentimes find a venous compression syndrome that can be treated with a venous stent significantly improving varicose veins, leg swelling, pelvic congestion syndrome and renal vein compression symptoms.
